If you have an urgent medical question before or after normal office hours, the on-call physician can be reached at (916) 454-6700. A physician from our office is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you call before or after normal office hours or on a weekend, the answering service will page the physician on-call, and he or she will return your call. Emergencies can delay the physician's response, but if your call has not been returned within 30 minutes, please call the answering service again. Please note that we generally will not retrieve Internet messages from RelayHealth on nights, weekends and holidays. IT IS CRITICAL THAT YOU DO NOT USE RELAYHEALTH TO REPORT NEW OR PROGRESSIVE CHANGES IN YOUR MEDICAL CONDITION, OR ANY OTHER ACUTE PROBLEMS.
